Sensors become soiled with residue, oils, or other contaminants due to contact with fingers and exposure to the elements. The sensor surface should be cleaned periodically for performance, aesthetic, and hygienic reasons. Care must be taken when cleaning the sensor to prevent damaging the sensor surface or surrounding components.

   CAUTION   

A dry clean cloth should be used to clean the Terminal, especially the biometric sensor.

   WARNING   

The use of acid liquids, alcohol or abrasive materials must not be used.

These types of cleaning products may damage the sensor surface.
