Hardware and software installation

The purpose of this guide is to take you step by step through the installation of both your V-Station Fingerscan Reader (hardware), and also installing your Lauranka Time Clock and Comms software. The software can be configured to run in a number of ways on your computer/network.  For the purpose of not causing undue confusion, this Installation Wizard will guide you through a basic type install.

 

As such if you require additional information on other install configurations please don't hesitate to contact the team at Lauranka.

 

Once installed Lauranka Time Clock can be run from the Windows menu and is called:

 

Lauranka Time Clock

 

Verification Code: You have 30 days to enter this code from date of first activation of the software. This Code will be provided by Lauranka New Zealand Ltd.

Entering your employees and work rules

The purpose of this guide is to take you through step by step the setup of your Lauranka System. We have endeavored to try and keep it as straight forward as possible, as such the Wizard will not cover all aspects of the more complex settings.

 

If there is something you come across that is not covered by this Wizard, and/or something which you require clarification please don't hesitate to contact the support team at Lauranka.

 

Details relating to the optional Job Tracking and Rostering Software modules will be denoted by different color writing. if your licensing does not include these optional modules please skip them during the wizard process.

 An easy function that allows you to correct any misse punches

Allows you to make correct hours, add leaves, allowances, etc., as well as close the week period

Reports

 Allows you to print reports as well as exporting Timesheets out to one of the applicable payrolls
