CHANGING THE TIME ON YOUR SIGMA FINGERSCAN READER, VISIONPASS FACIAL READER OR MORPHOWAVE COMPACT READER
(Lauranka COMMS Sigma)
Using Lauranka COMMS Communications Software, changing the Time on your Data Capture Reader is a very easy process. This is something you may care to do in relation to Daylight Savings or for another reason.
STEP 1. Open 'Lauranka COMMS Sigma' (select 'Sigma' off the Main Menu in Lauranka Time Clock)
STEP 2. Select 'Setup' (and chose the desired Terminal/Reader)
STEP 3. Next press the 'Download Date/Time' button
Please note the Date and Time will be downloaded from your P.C./Time Source so please ensure this is correct first.
To automatically download time to a Reader(s), simply set up a Task via Windows Task Scheduler at the desired Polling times.
The command line to run an Autopoll routine is:
"C:\Lauranka\Lauranka Comms\CommsSigma.exe" quicktime
Please remember that if you have installed Comms to a non-default location the 'C:\Lauranka\Lauranka Comms\' part of the line will need to be altered to reflect the different location.
Finally with the above command line the download time process is only active and running for the period of the command.
