SETTING UP JOBS

(Lauranka Time Clock Series 3)

This guide will help you understand and setup the Jobs.

 

If you don't intend to use Jobs then this option can be ignored.

STEP 1. Open your Lauranka TimeClock Software.

 

 

STEP 2.  Select 'Setup' from the 'Main Menu'.

 

 

STEP 3. Select 'Jobs'.

 

 

STEP 4. Select 'New' to create a Job.

 

 

STEP 5. 'Number': Allocate a number to the Job.

 

 

STEP 6. 'Name': Give the Job a name.

 

 

STEPS 7-11 are optional

(complete if required)

 

STEP 7. 'Description': Ability to enter a description.

 

 

STEP 8. 'Status': Ability to have a Job 'Open" or 'Closed'.

 

The default is 'Open'

 

 

STEP 9. 'Start': Ability to set a Job start date.

 

 

STEP 10.  'Finish': Ability to set a Job finish date.

 

 

STEP 11. 'Pay Export Code': If you intend to transfer hours worked to your Payroll and include the breakdown by Jobs, the this value should match your Payrolls appropriate type code.

 

 

STEP 12. 'Charge Out Rate': We have limited number of reports that can be printed in dollars for a Job based on the 'Charge Out Rate', and this is where those Rates are set.

 

If generating a report based on these Rates, then the dollars calculated will be based on the currently set Rates and will not reflect any historic rate changes.

 

 

STEP 13. 'Default Cost Centre No': This feature is only for use in one specific CSV Pay Export file, and is not required to be setup unless you are specifically using this.

 

 

STEP 14. 'Matrix': This feature is only for use in one specific CSV Pay Export file, and is not required to be setup unless you are specifically using this file.

 

 

STEP 15. Finally press 'Save' to save your Cost Centre.
